“清明雨落，松柏含翠”，在这慎终追远的日子里，上海市白茅岭监狱的民警们齐聚谷志明烈士墓前，以庄重的仪式与深情的追忆，向这位用生命诠释忠诚的跨越时空的战友致敬。

1984年6月，皖南郎溪遭遇百年一遇的洪水。年仅19岁的监狱民警谷志明，在3000余名群众被困圩堤、断粮两日两夜的危急时刻，毅然泅水强渡运送干粮。湍急的洪流中，他的身影定格成永恒的坐标，生命永远停驻在从警的第58天。41年过去，他的事迹仍被当地百姓传颂，更成为上海监狱“红烛精神”的鲜活注脚——燃烧自己，照亮他人。
烈士墓前，时空在此交汇——当年谷志明守护的农场，已发展为现代化监狱；他未竟的事业，正由新一代民警接续书写。从防汛救灾到教育改造，从科技强警到社会帮扶，“红烛精神”在新时代焕发出新的光芒。
